RHIZOME: Creative Arts Symposium
Assisting production of Brisbane’s first creative art symposium of the format I worked with Producer Joon Kwok and with the support of Brisbane City Council we held Rhizome at the Brisbane Square Library in May 2014.
A super-charged, interactive and participatory event for all Brisbane creatives. Based on a knowledge-sharing model of facilitated group conversations, this is action-oriented learning focusing on how we develop careers for ourselves and with fellow collaborators. Designed to be fun, and with maximum time for collaboration and creativity, exchanging insights and ideas, and getting to know other creatives from across other art forms, all in one day. And it’s free!
Facilitators included Steph Vajda, Andrew Cory, Katrina Torenbeek, Lucas Stibbard, Ack Kinmonth, Luke Jaaniste, Letitia Norton, Madeleine King, Nadia Buick, Scotia Monkivitch, Tyle McLaughlin.
Introducing graphic scribe Jimmy Patch.
