This October was lucky enough to get tickets in plenty of time to the anticipated 2013 Creative Time Summit.

I have a note pad full of scribbles and a head full of ideas and will be reliving the stellar line up of creative, passionate, courageous and crazy presenters via T H I S  L I N K.

Projects and presenters this year that were absolute stand outs for me included

Laurie Jo Reynolds (her project lead to the closing of Tamms Correctional Center in Illinois)

The Heidelberg Project  ( Detroit, Michigan) which I visited for myself in May 2013.

Mario Ybarra Jr (L.A, California)

John Fetterman (Braddock, Pennsylvania) – this mayor has used creative placemaking to rebuild his decaying city.

Rick Lowe, Project Row Houses  (Houston, Texas)

Marcus Neustetter (Johannesburg, South Africa)

Chido Govera (Hout Bay, South Africa)

Raul Cardenas Osuna (Tijuana, Mexico)

Chen Shaoxiong (Guangzhou, China)

Invincible (Detroit, Michigan)

The two day summit was available for live stream and was picked up by over 60 live events across the globe.
